Our experience there

Stratton is an extremely well-polished and maintained mountain, and one of our favorite picks in southern Vermont. Stratton is very easy to navigate and explore. If you are into a huge variety of different groomer trails, Stratton is one of the best picks. Stratton's lift infrastructure is some of the best in Vermont, with a high-speed gondola and multiple express quads, or even a high-speed six-pack. If you are looking for a mountain that offers a large number of trails to explore, with amazing facilities, snowmaking, and a beautiful village, Stratton is the pick for you. The only downside is that on peak weekends, and even popular normal season weekends, Stratton's lift lines can become long, especially on major lifts.

Where to stay

The base village suits a car-light stay; Manchester is an alternative for restaurants and shopping.
