Our experience there

If your ideal ski day consists of perfectly groomed trails, smooth cruising, and maximum comfort, Okemo delivers on every front. They have hands-down some of the best snowmaking and trail-grooming teams in New England, meaning conditions stay consistent even when mother nature is acting up. The mountain layout is massive and incredibly easy to wander without getting stuck on flat cat tracks, and the heated bubble chair on the main mountain is a game-changer on freezing Vermont mornings. It is an ideal spot for intermediates and families looking for a seamless, enjoyable day. However, if you are looking for terrifying steeps, cliff drops, or dense technical glades, Okemo is going to feel a bit too tame.
